Artworks

More than a matter of technique or medium, my artistic practice stems from an inner urgency: the need to give form, to build worlds that communicate through beauty, atmosphere, and presence. The medium is merely a path between creative impulse and the viewer’s gaze. What drives me is the power of the image as a language—capable of evoking meaning and sensation.

It is in this spirit that I have taken part in projects requiring careful attention to the narratives and environments they inhabit. The series Hoje é Dia de Maria (TV Globo), nominated for the Emmy Awards in 2006, featured puppets as an essential part of its cast. In addition to sculpting the figures that brought these characters to life, I also worked as a set and prop painter, helping shape the production’s singular visual world.

In the project Megaceta (CREO), previously exhibited at the Aquarium Tropical in Paris and currently at the Biodôme de Montréal, digital art, science, and technology are interwoven to create innovative sensory experiences. I was responsible for modeling and animating the animals featured in this work.

Although embedded within the logic of the cultural industry, these projects go beyond their aesthetic dimension and embrace an instructive and educational role. Whether retelling folk tales with poetic depth or awakening wonder for biodiversity through technology, each project expands the audience’s horizon of experience and imagination.

These and other works have allowed me to explore various forms of expression, always with the aim of creating unique visual environments and experiences that speak to the senses.
